Incorporated in 1997, Shandro
Investments Ltd. (operating as Sun Valley Fresh Foods)
has been in the fresh cut produce business for over ten
years.
At its inception, production was conducted within a modest
4,000 square foot facility with ten employees. Products
initially produced were primarily for the food service
sector in the Okanagan Valley. In 1999, with increased
interest in our products and expanding markets, the business
moved into a larger plant to increase output and introduced
a line of bagged ready-to-eat salads. With exponential
growth, in September 2004, the operation moved into a larger
38,000 square foot facility in order to increase production
of it’s innovative gourmet delicatessen salads and
fresh cut vegetable products. |
